We also went to Balboa Park during our San Diego vacation. We went to the Fleet Science Museum, this place is fun for all ages. It is all hands on, science experiments, it was really crowded, but very fun.
We explored, with Zane as our guide, the San Diego Model Railroad Museum, it has a HUGE collection of all types of model trains in all sorts of layouts. I can't believe we don't have any pictures of it. Also we went to San Diego Air & Space museum and Mingei International Museum which was featuring Sam Maloof.
